I have heard that llamas spit more and spit at people. I have 2 alpaca geldings. I don't think Teddy ever spits but when he gets passive aggressive (lays his neck over Laddie's), Laddie will spit at him. SmellsAlpacas are smaller & cuter - don't think they are prone to spitting.
