The Old Folks Home

Not sure why when I post links they have to be so darn long?
Curious. When I clicked on it I was taken to:

I have killer ducks.

They killed, disemboweled and then ate the innards of a rat while I was at work today. I do have pictures but

GOOD DUCKS! Can I borrow them? I know I have at least 1 rat raiding the chicken feeder. I've seen it scamper away. It has a tunnel under the coop (repurposed dirt floor stall) that opens to the barn alley outside the coop.

I'm trying to do the same, @getaclue. Thanks for the kind sympathies, everyone. Cuddled Beta's sister, Alpha and brother Nugget tonight. They sit in their outside pen and start screaming for me to come and carry them in the coop at 8 pm every night.I can't fault the hens for being good mothers and protecting their babies. Thank God all 5 are growing like weeds and one is starting to do the rooster alert at the ripe old age of 11 days. Too cute to hear it coming out of this tiny chick.

@superchemicalgirl, ship those ducks to me! I just had to put bait under one of my coops (have a removable panel in the coop skirt that I can unscrew so I can toss bait there out of the bird's reach) due to seeing new tunnels going under it.

If you can't ship them, give them extra treats tonight. Good ducks!

That's wonderful that you can make it with your hands.

I can't my hands are to weak.
Have been since I was in my mid 30's. I can't open a bottle of water. And sometimes i can't hold my coffee. Other times I'll pick something up and it will go flying across the room. I especially hate when it's my coffee! It takes me an hour to clean it up!
:hugs's hope it's nothing serious:hugs
