I've been having severe leg cramps ever since we got our new bed.
I finally figured out even though I put a blanket over the mattress pad the cooling gel in the mattress is still making my legs cold causing my legs to cramp. Last night I put a thick towel down to lay on and I finally slept all night without waking up all night with leg cramps! Now I'm wondering how this is going to work out this winter? After having a heated waterbed for so many years now we're freezing!

It's the mattress. I might try using the waterbed heater on low between the blanket and a cover to lay on. I had no idea this mattress was going to make me so cold. I love our new bed but it's to cold!

We have a heated mattress pad on our bed.We wouldn't be without it. Not only does it keep us warmer in the winter when the fire dies down overnight but it also helps with arthritis and stiff joints.

We have a king sized bed so we pay about 100 dollars for our pad but it's worth every penny.

It is a real plus! One that has separate heat controls is good too. You might want a different temperature than your DH
