The fire up north of me continues to be devastating. A BYC member lost their house, flock and then the house they evacuated too was destroyed and killed all of the animals except for 2 dogs

We are a long ways from them but in the middle of many of them for smoke. It is terrible here today. It is dark like a cloudy day.

I am staying inside as much as possible

I know!

It used to mostly happen in less populated parts of the state--Mountains and etc. Now it is hitting lower areas and populated places. Redding has a population of 92,000 people in the City and a lot of people living near it. It is an Urban center with two hospitals. The fire came up to the city line
