Morning old and not so old folks.Stiff and sore here this morning also. No reason. Just old problems rearing their ugly head. Nodules in feet are sore this morning..2 weeks till I see rheumatologist and try to get to the bottom of what is causing these nodules to form on my joints....I hope.

Off to see what my idiot birds are up to this morning.

We bought a portable A/C at Home Depot. 12,000 btu for $399.00. After considerable work, since I don't have anything that resembles a "normal" window, we got everything set up just fine. It took about 2 1/2 hours to get everything nice and cool in the main living areas. We lined up the kids' mattresses, and an extra one for me, on the living room floor. Dd said she was fine with sleeping on the couch, so we didn't bring her mattress in, but could have. We slept very comfortable last night.

The kids wanted cereal for supper. Dd, and I ate nice salads. I was not about to cook, and heat the house up. I still have the hallway, and back section of the house blocked off with a blanket.

The A/C people are suppose to come today with what's needed, and finish fixing it today. Last evening, I commented that it had not rained to cool things down. In fact, over the last 3 months, I can count on my left hand the number of days it has not rained. 2 of those days, is when we were without A/C. Go figure! Dd laughed, then informed me the weather forecast for today is RAIN, and we will get rain for at least the next 7 days. That seals the deal. I KNOW my A/C will be fixed today, otherwise it would not be raining to help cool things down.

I have a nodule on one of my fingers, nothing to do about it per the dr.
Pouring rain, sitting in the Drs office. Hurry up and wait.
