The Old Folks Home

Hey, guys, rally all your prayer warriors and ask them to pray for my dad and family. My dad (91) is in the hospital. He has pneumonia and a UTI. My normally kind, loving, gentle daddy is frantic and belligerent and out of his head. He always does this when he is in the hospital and I know it is temporary, but it is still hard on our family. He called me a liar and cussed me yesterday. I will not ever tell him because it would break his heart if he knew he did that and he would never forgive himself.

Thinking of you much - It is very hard when the elderly are in hospital. Once my dear loving and gentle father-in-law hit me with his walking stick because apparently I brought him the wrong paper? It can be very hard when they don't know what they are at. I do hope your dad rallies for you.

What adorable trick or treaters. Halloween got rained out here - started pouring last night and continued off and on throughout today. I hope the kids had some indoor entertainment as a back up. Good thing it wasn't snow.

Adult deer season starts here tomorrow. If I can get the neighbors permission, BF will be out deer hunting tomorrow morning. I've got a few roos on my list and 2 turkeys to take care of.
