Also on the positive today, my rooster is taking his antibiotics whole now, instead of me having to crush them and make a slurry in an oral syringe.

Much, much easier.

Haha, that calendar is the bomb!

I feel incredibly fortunate that my family was so great, even though my parents ended up divorced they were there and undivided throughout our childhood. My grandparents were exceptional, and I still have a close relationship with my cousins (everyone from my parent's generation has passed). As I grew older I came to realize how rare that is. And how much an advantage - and how hard it can be for people without that advantage. Truly the best gift we have for the future is to give children the support, love and encouragement (and discipline) they need to be successful.
