Also on the positive today, my rooster is taking his antibiotics whole now, instead of me having to crush them and make a slurry in an oral syringe.

Much, much easier.

Laboratory grown leeches are used to start blood flow after arterial, and veinal type surgeries, and prevent blood clots, especially on difficult skin grafts.

Laboratory grown maggots are used to clean dead flesh, especially in the case of burn victims where the increased trauma from scrubbing the dead flesh is undesirable.

penny, one time of getting your severe burn scrubbed, and you'd be glad to have the maggots. Not only is it painless, but they drape you, so you don't really see anything. There is a lot that goes into raising them, and selecting them for use. They have to be exactly the right age, etc.

It's already been determined that 'Al's' 'unique' is indeed 'weird'. I like to hang with him so as to make myself appear normal/nonweird by comparison.
