The Old Folks Home

Finished my quilt, took the bag off the tombstone from last weekend, then made some spaghetti squash stuffed with italian sausage, roasted tomatoes, kale and pak choi.

Also went out to bf's sisters camper this morning to get some of her clothes. Got into an altercation with her incredibly trashy and nasty landlord that was kinda scary. Good thing I can deescalate situations...

The quilt is eye candy!
Squash sounds delicious...yum
Be careful. :hugs

Sourland, I would love to see some video of a dachshund meet, what on Earth do a whole bunch of Dachshunds do when they are all running around together!

They are run in brace - two at a time, and frankly they don't do much. Champions run tomorrow morning, and I am going to see if they are any better than the open classes.

SCG, don't go over there alone.

My friend and I had the equine dentist out today, he travels with a veterinarian that I have met previously, a great guy. We sedated and fixed the teeth of four of the horses, fifth didn't need any work done. $750 but it was worth it.

Then we drove up to Sault Ste Marie and went shopping - TSC, Joanns, TJ Max, lunch at Asian Buffet, visit with her mom, Meijers. So much fun.

Now I'm getting ready to head downtown to one of the taverns, my boyfriend and his buddy are playing music tonight so it might be a late night. So glad I get to rest up tomorrow!
You went to Joannes without me? :hit

Might get to it tomorrow. I can see/hear the responses when I suggest splitting the wood. The best I ever get is "I don't want to but I will" and grousing pretty much the whole time. It is actually pretty easy with 3 people. One on one side of the splitter to load, one to push the lever, one to unload from the other side and stack. Even easier with the drying/storage rack since I can move it right by the splitter and move it when full to another location. No carrying the split wood to the stack.

Very nice setup!

I have been getting my wood chopped by boy power... eldest loved chopping wood because of the quiet + physical labor. Kid 2 and 3 are pretty good too. But the youngest 2 just haven't bulked up yet.

And the eldest is now GONE! And #2 just told me that he is considering running off for the spring semester! :barnie

So what do they do? Just have a play day? They don't track something?
