Bought a container of marshmallow fluff... Have peanut butter. Recalled how good a fluff-a-nutter was with milk as a kid. Finally made one the other night... It's not the same. The fluff now is "jet puffed" and is mostly sugar coated air. Not the fluff I remember. A lot has changed in the last 1/2 century

Got a new roost bar hung in the bantam coop. Lots more to do but have that crossed off the to do list. going to be working on the rooster coop this afternoon. Just beautiful outside. Sposed to hit 80 for a few days then storms and a big cool down.

Yes, i am going tomorrow for a pre op exam. So i will be shopping in Lynchburg.
I started the divider in the guinea coop. The guineas hate it and are sleeping in the trees. As soon as i finish the divider i will put the young guineas in there. Maybe then they will come in again. I have a hen still sitting on a hidden nest, i see her come out for food and water every day. It will be interesting to see what hatches.

along with your taste buds.... Face it as a kid sugar was like crak and you spent your time burning it off playing....

Now the Crak you experience is your face hitting the concrete as you pass out from sugar overload.... sigh....

Actually I wonder.... I remember loving snow cones as a kid... got one in college and couldn't finish it. way too sweet.

Don't know if it was made differently... or my tastes changed.

Changes for me too: Got a new flavor of Blue Bunny Ice cream called Caramel something- something It was soooo sweet honestly dumped it down the drain (after it melted of course). Sweet is okay but, I want to taste flavors not sugar.

Love the squash. All my pumpkins and gourds were assaulted by squirrels this year and I have nothing left.
Yesterday they dug into my 50 lb pumpkin I so proudly grew and ruined it, along with a rouge vif d'etampes next to it.

I hatesss them, precious.
