The leather strapping came, it fits and it works!!

BF is going to try and glue our original flyer. There's a guy who can't fix it but will make a new one and will then use all the old parts to finish the flyer for me. Considering I don't have plans at the moment to spin, I'll save my money and just glue the old one since it isn't fixable.

Awesome!

Does someone need to send you roving?

:p
(As if you need more to do)

Geez Micro, it is amazing you can do anything at all let alone all you do!
Must be my stubborn German blood. Thanks Dad! Mom had osteoarthritis in her back and hips, dad had a double laminectomy and lived with back pain his whole life. So I guess my Irish and Cherokee blood on mom's side figures into it also.

Or as I like to say,Gee thanks for the great genes, mom and dad!

Amazing spinning wheel, SGC. Had a fun talk today with the pharmacist while picking up my fosamax. She couldn't find epi-pens or shinglex. She was not a happy camper. That lead to a conversation about the generic epi-pens that were mentioned. She said, yeah, they were looking 'ahead' for those but what upset her was she couldn't get enough shinglex to cover the need of the local nursing home.

What I would like to have as a decoration is an antique saddle. But then I'd want an antique horse to go along with it.

the brow and eye lift are simply to see properly... My eyes are becoming more and more shrouded ....

With the tummy lift its to keep my tummy fold from having Yeast infections... Which are painful...
deb

That is medically needed in my book that is needed

Buddy of mine way back in high school had his eyelids done. He was ...is Italian had those eyelids that looked half closed. We all thought it was stupid and he looked a little weird afterwards but we got used to it. He got picked on sometimes when he was a kid, called Garfield etc, hey Roddy you awake?.
They took muscle tissue from his legs to open up his eyes.
Never forget few yrs later I lived in my grandma's house after high school (she didn't live there, lived with her older boyfriend lol, house was abandoned) it was pretty much a party house . She would stop by quite often to check on us.
She was starring at my friend with his eye lift, he starring right back at her dead asleep passed out.
"What's wrong with him!" he would look dead, eyes wide open sleeping. Gram he's alright he sleeps with his eyes open lol.
Many times sucking down beers BS'ing with him take awhile before I'd realize I was talking to myself, yo yo YO! Hey Roddy! You awake!! dead asleep eyes wide open just like a few minutes before when he was awake, dang freaky have to make sure he was still breathing..lol...

Awesome! County fair, Otsego county fair, not ours but we went a few yrs ago a old woman was using a spinning wheel just like that. It was pretty neat watching her, we watched for awhile.

Early 90's ? when he had it done, I bet they are a little better at what they do now. I haven't seen him in a long time, 20yrs or so, heard he moved to Hawaii his mom and dad still live here. He looked completely normal, just wasn't droopy half shut eyelids we were used to. Side effect was his eyes stayed open when he slept.

It depends on how much of each you have!

I am a lot less German than I was told I was.

I am still stubborn and have a high threshold for pain
