The Old Folks Home

Got BF's mom's surprise throw quilt back from the longarmer on Thursday and finished getting it bound today too
Terrific as always! And the animals stitched in, what a touch. I agree it might be best to give her both at once when they are done. But then there is always the "extended birthday" concept with belated wishes and gifts. Guess you and BF have to decide if she would want to do the emotional thing once or twice.

(Sorry for all the quilt photos, y'all).
Sorry?? :smack We LOVE seeing your quilt work. You have a special talent there (and probably many others we just on't know about).

:hugs Sorry for the slap :D

Well we had a great time last night. I don't usually post pics on social media, but since people didn't recognize me I don't mind posting this one :D

well damned it all to hell... didn't win the megamillions, nor did I win the powerball. Guess the tractor (and next month's mortgage payment) will just have to wait...;)
Um, hopefully not the mortgage payment.

GWB strikes again. DD1's clock automatically changes time on the DST/ST dates that were in effect when it was made. No way to change it. So she got up late today (though the animals she is tending in another part of town likely don't know or care) and will have to reset her clock every day for about a week. Note that outside N. America, few of those places that do DST followed the change.

Great outfit mutt!

Getting there, finished the roof up this morning after taking the dog for her obligatory 3 mile romp to get the daemons out (now that no one will be shooting at us, thank you Sunday). She's now happily snoring on the couch while we finish.

Need to find the roofing tar for that last row of shingles/roofing nails, and adding skids now. We are going to put it pretty high up to stop the rats from nesting under it. We will have to build a handicap ramp for the ducks so they can get in it. The ground is soooo soft from all the rain and snow, we are going to tear it up trying to put this into place.
