The Old Folks Home

Thanks Ron, I bet you could grow some huge wonderful pumpkins in woodland, huh? :D
I have seen some huge ones at the yolo county fair.

I hope to get some more space for a Garden next year--I have a lot less chickens now so have some space

No pumpkins here for many years. Had enough when the roving bad guys would torture and smash them in very unholy ways. Had one baby pumpkin outside on front window sill.Don't know what I was thinking - found it's mutilated body the next day. Little Muffy cried and cried - it was her first(only) pumpkin.:hit

Hi @Peppercorngal and welcome to the 'home'. Your pumpkins are great. I planted pumpkins this year but then the drought came....and the heat. The vines dried and died early so I picked my three pumpkins and they rotted in less than a week.

Oh well, better luck next year, right?
We have to water plants here in the summer. There is a Drought very summer LOL
