When i had my recent surgery they gave me the Rx before i had surgery. That way i got it filled before surgery, and didn't have to wait.

The laws are different here. They cannot write the script till you are checking out of the hospital.

I just want my dh not to suffer in pain from major bone surgery.

Just saying, it is those people that suffer....the ones who have a medical need for the drugs.

BCBS is a strange one. I had Anthem for 3 years. This past year they revamped their RX criteria for opioid drugs. One 7 day supply, two pills a day and that is the month's supply. When I heard that, I had to pick my jaw up off the floor. NO refills. When I finally found my voice, I told the lady on the phone that I suffered from chonic joint pain and that amount wouldn't even last me a week the way if I took them the way the doctor wanted me to. She just sighed and said, there is an opiod crisis. I think my reply was rather snarky at that point. I thanked her for not helping me and never mind I'd just buy my pain control medication out of pocket.

Keep in mind I have Silver script right now and they pay for more pills per month than I even use. What happened with Anthem is 100% Anthem and nothing else.

Hi Micro! How are you today? I am taking a break for some tea. Turkey Town is fed and watered. The quail are mostly done, but i bought hay for the bunnies so they will all get some of that.

Kinda tired today but then I have two speeds, fast and warp 9. Still haven't given in to the MTX side effects, LOL. My bantams actually ventured outside today after the snow melted. Two of the SDW roosters came out first. It was strange seeing them stomping around with their little scaley feet crusted with snow.

I still have to go out and check for frozen water. I'll probably wait and do that when the sun goes down at 5.

How is that head doing?

My head is doing great. And i have avoided whacking it again.
Anyone who knows MrsMistyReal, her hubby is basically dying now. Down to 114 lbs from 200. He is in hospital at the moment. I talked to her today.

Chicka, sorry that there's not a lot of options. Legally you can't refill a CII (what it sounds like you have) but if you got a CIII or CIV (like tylenol3 or tramadol) it can have refills.
