Without the THC, you get pain relief and anxiety relief along with some lowering of inflammation. It might be good for skin problems and blood pressure too but no hallucinations and other of the high effects of THC

The one thing they have figured out is that anyone getting legal medical marijuana would have to surrender all firearms, and never be able to use them again. Maybe by 2026 they'll figure it out, and set up dispensaries.

They might try that tactic, but they can't refuse you a constitutional right, especially "for life" for doing something that is legal and prescribed. That will get fought all the way to the supreme court and will not stand up. Period.

Part of the reason there is still illegal pot trade is BECAUSE of the ridiculous taxation amounts in many areas and hoops to get it legally. The fed can't afford to stop the "war on drugs" as it generates too much revenue. Even though thousands of years of experience demonstrates that training works much better than punishment. Make something illegal and that just adds to the excitement of doing it.

We have a friend who keeps urging us to try the CBD oil. Right now I'm trying the hemp oil. Man that stuff tastes NASTY Also trying it on three of our dogs with arthritis and anxiety problems. Two of them hate loud noises. It's really helped the dogs. I think I need to take it more regularly at night to see an effect from it instead of just PRN.

Yep, that is why they charge so little for the same drugs in "low income" countries. "Rich" Americans can afford more. So either it costs WAY less to make than they claim or we are subsidizing the heck out of those drugs for a lot of people in other countries.

Buying drugs in Mexico can be a very dangerous thing to do, they have none of the safety precautions or testing of their products that we have here and you never know what you're getting when you buy a bottle of medication.

Except that often it is the SAME medicine made in a USA plant.

The FDA approved a thc drug for anti seizure medication. There is a lot of good medicine that can come from the entire plant

That is about the only thing it has been approved for. There has been pretty much NO scientific testing to show what ailments are helped by it and what the dosage would be for each.

Try one of the cbd oils first. Most of them are legal if they fall below a certain amount of THC in it. CBD from hep seeds has not thc and works well for most people

Problem is there are NO controls, similar to what @1muttsfan was saying about prescription drugs in Mexico. You have no idea what amount of CBD is in the product and what other things are in it. Any claims that a given product can help with XYZ ailment is purely subjective. Good potential for placebo effect. Yet people are spending billions on untested products. Latest Consumer Reports has a short article on it.
