The Old Folks Home

Ahhhh the major food groups!:gig I wouldn't hit the panic button until I couldn't find any chocolate!

But seriously, how are you all up there? Things trying to get back to normal or is that going to take a while?

There was a decent amount of chocolate in the store.. but I grabbed a salty toffee bar.. ... low on fresh veggies. After the quake people in town made a run on fresh veggies (as in, there is NO lettuce left), propane, junk food, and booze.

The local newspaper said we didn't have to panic... there were no losses at the liquor stores due to the quake .... but delivery trucks would probably be delayed, so restocking might be an issue for the next 2 weeks.

There is talk of one of our many active volcanoes maybe belching a bit... but eh..... that happens often enough... no biggie. But it does at times disrupt air traffic. However... I think cheetos come up by barge.... :old

Not sure... i did grab a tub of sour cream.. sour cream with the last bag of sour cream and onion potato chips that was on the shelf. All mine... but I forgot to smack the boys on the head and yell MINE! Wonder if it still exists... better go check.

Anchorage... did you see the photos on the news? Some of those liquor stores had huge losses!

They also had a crazy number of aftershocks... not sure how many wells will fail....will have to wait and see.

I got a ton of stuff done, including planting these,

I will be sorry tomorrow, but happy when spring gets here.
I first read "painting " I was confused.

Nice assortment... but I am worried that that probably did a number on your shoulder.

I hope the supply chain recovers soon!

Good point about the building and it's possible connection to @CapricornFarm's shoulder problems. Tendonitis is caused by repetitive motions to a joint. Lots of other maladies also.

Sun chips and mini rice cakes....glad to know somebody besides me is enjoying, or not enjoying in my case the styrofoam and cardboard chip diet.:sick

Husband was naming off my favorite foods recently. I just kept saying, nope, no, can't eat that one either, nope, nada....But keep my weight stable.....on a diet of styrofoam and cardboard chips....oh and bananas...I can eat bananas.:hit

6 months ago I was determined to lose weight and have, having started at 148 pounds and now down to 125. I don't want to go below 120 but now am at a loss as to how to keep things stable. I can eat Breyers natural ice cream and frozen yogurt along with light ice cream. But the diet is so confusing. One site will say eat this and another will say, don't eat that! DH suggested I talk to a dietician and I just might request that if the blood work says gout for certain.
