I do not know any thing about that...

Oz did you read this commentary on the new lipid guidelines? This one made me giggle at lunch today:
http://www.lecturepad.org/pdf/tomdayspring/Commentary_on_2013_ACC_AHA_Guidelines.pdf

Specifically (besides the fact that he mixed up holly and holy):
I could go on and on but my strongest advice is that they should simply rename this
compendium of silliness to 2013 ACC/AHA Guideline for Academics Not Involved with
Day to Day Evaluation and Treatment of Blood Cholesterol to Reduce
Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Risk in Adults. For those of you that have to go to the clinic everyday
–may the particles and may all the other very useful biomarkers and your experience and
wisdom continue to guide you!
The new guidleines basically say what I say. Put Lipitor in the water... (as he ducks from all the debris thrown by the intolerant)

Quote: Heart attacks in women have been poorly diagnosed until very recently. THeir symptoms are far different then men. In general women did not get the same level of care as men-- don't know if this has improved or not. ANd iironically we are the one person in the family pushing the others to get to the doctor.
