Cats, ...

I used to put crazy cats in those mesh laundry bags to wash them, and tie it around their neck. Works pretty well.

I took the boxes from vaccines to my vet and they recorded the info and dates of the vaccines for us.

When I lost my vision due to anemia the dr. Told my parents to cook as much as they could in a cast iron pan.
It worked for me.

Sad morning here. Probably won't be around for a day or two.

We are saying goodbye today to our Australian Cattle Dog who has degenerative myelopathy this morning. He has lost bowel control 2 months ago and last night had his first episode of bladder incontinence. His mental status is changing and it's getting harder and harder for him to support his weight on his front legs.

It's time. He has fought the good fight but before this horrible disease takes away the last of who and what he is we are going to let his spirit run free again to chase cows.

My condolences. It's always hard. Dogs give you so many good days to enjoy and then one really bad day.

Yeah sure I said cast iron is non-stick most the time if used/cleaned right, but occasionally sticks

I've found that butter is the best "non stick" thing in my cast iron pans. Takes just a little and works WAY better than veg oil. Of course it isn't good for seasoning the pans since it has a low burn temp, veg oil is best for that.
