The Old Folks Home

Thing is first day is very labor intensive for the cookies - second day you just slice and pop in oven - easy peasy. If only someone would do the first day, I know I could handle the rest.

Maybe I am just holding back because I know who will eat all of them ME. At Xmas my son would have eaten plenty and taken some when he visited friends. Ack.Hope this isn't going to stall till May when my sister & older niece come to visit and my son as well.

She forgot to buy some...

None in the house. :(

Uber Eats.

can't SCG spent all my $$$ on stupid heart shape candy boxes (buy 1 get 1 free) I'd kick myself in the pants if I was that agile.

Makes sense. I spent mine on fabric. Much less fattening.

I still haven't made the cookies I was supposed to do at Xmas. Had to replace some ingredients twice already because past expiration date. I'm just stuck, and can't get enough motivation.

You know, it's okay to not be okay.

:hugs

You guys are just mean all this talk about cookies, seafood and chocolate covered cherries. :hit I'm still on this grass and twigs diet. Basically an anti inflammation diet paired with a gout diet.

The good news is that my joint pain is diminished and I've lost 28 pounds. The bad news is that I'm still losing weight.

Chocolate covered cherries:drool is all I can say.

Cap if you are wanting to build a 6 foot wall you must be feeling better.:celebrate

Tilamook is VERY yummy ice cream. My favorite! So rich and creamy.

Discovered that eating chocolates while watching a movie before bed not a good thing to do. The caffeine in the chocolate kicked in shortly after midnight and I was popped wide awake. It'll be a long day today.

Yesterday was DH & my 20th wedding anniversary. Had a nice dinner out in spite of the crowd at our best restaurant. Our server was a true romantic and comped our wine. Awww....
