The Old Folks Home

Well I did it twice Bruce.
Oh, well then I wouldn't brag too loudly about "third time's the charm".

I'm a 12 year old boy
You've clearly changed since I saw you in January then!

The guts are easy to change, the instructions come with the parts Ron showed. You don't need the one with the tank bolts, most likely only the part that lets the water down into the toilet. But they are cheap enough might as well get the one that also has the inlet valve since yours likely aren't real new anyway. Don't need to take the tank off, just shut off the water and flush. I'll be happy to do it for you when we go pick up DD1 at Mt. Allison but you'll have to wait, that isn't until the middle of April. At least the driveway SHOULD be passable by then!

Funny how treatments vary.

When I had a severe whiplash they wouldn't give me a soft C collar even when I begged for it. Holding my head upright was painful. I had damaged some of the cranial nerves and tears kept running down my cheek from my left eye. Still no C collar. They finally told me that they wanted the other muscles in my neck to atrophy from not being used.

Man did I hurt so I know what you are going through, Bruce.

Just put my last buff O/Welly cross rooster down. He was slowly declining after being soundly thrashed by a younger roo. This morning he was back in the nesting box. I got him out. Gave him water. He drank two swallows. I offered him food. He refused. Produced a BIG runny white poop..oh oh I said to myself. Possible early kidney failure. He was losing weight. He went back into the coop and immediately got chased by the new flock master. Found him back in the box. Dragged him out by his ankles and plopped him on the ground. He just stood there with his tail drooping. Earlier he just set on the ground. He still had swelling in the toe joints and this morning, soft swelling around the posterior ankle.

Amazing how fast they can go from a big robust bird to all but dead in just a few days.
So sorry you had to do that. Hugs.

Yes!

I only took the tank off when I converted to low flush. I do not like taking the tank off.

Replace that parts that Bruce mentioned

By showing toilets respect, I mean anything that lands or splashes on toilet seat should be promptly cleaned off. When seat is lifted into unnatural position men- use both hands to aim at the center of bowl not all over . Very well.

BTW if deposits are shall we say more voluminous that usual, flush the first half, finish going and then flush the end half. Otherwise toilet will choke or upchuck contents & you REALLY do not want it to do that.
