The church next door last night:

So yeah....no planting here. Ice on my pond most mornings, snow a bit slushy the last 2 afternoons.

Alaskan, your photos have been beautiful - especially those of your church. I'm thinking they would make a great calendar. Maybe that would be a good way to raise money for church and community projects.

What kind of camera do you have anyway?
Actually....I have just been using my phone.... my camera is pretty old now, and no longer likes to function.

I do have a new smart phone....that helps...but zoom on a phone is still .. well...not worth using.

They are getting better!

I agree with DD. I assume you aren't using Gimp or another photo editor on your pictures. For not being 'sharpened' up, they are beautiful just as is.

Plus I have to admit, I'm a sucker for church architecture. Love it from an artistic POV.

We had to cover everything up last night. Stupid weather. That storm dropping white stuff on the upper mid west dropped our temps to the low 30s last night. We have peas up about an inch, potatoes breaking the ground and tomatoes covered with milk jugs. Temp got down to 33 and is on the rise now so maybe everything was spared. Plus our apple trees are blooming.

Saw a caption on Pinterest last week that said God was looking for someone who would set up all night with a sick calf and when it died, would sigh and say 'maybe next year'. So he created farmers.

We are just hobby farmers but I can sure relate to that statement with Trees and Chickens.

Here are current pics of the pupsickles. They are almost 5 months old now and looking more and more like what their adult selves will look like.

I had a horrible time convincing the site that it was okay to download these pictures.

I'm impressed that DH got them to all sit still for a moment. From left to right, Roxie, in the front is Diesel, behind Diesel is Sidney and next to Sid on the right is Varn.

And this is Ben who was off taking a nap while all the picture taking nonsense was going on.
