The Old Folks Home

Same here, Penny. We lit the wood stove last night. Goodness gracious it's the 20th of May! I've worn shorts once, Capri pants several times now back to jeans and long sleeved shirts. I even took advantage of the heat and baked bread today.

Back to the 80s by the end of the week. I hope!

SGC's back! SGC's back!:ya Beautiful pics. Glad you all had a great time. I would have been stuffing rocks in my backpack, pockets, making DH carry some....Yeah, would have brought a lot of rocks home.

As for cooking old birds. Plan is to crock pot them for 12+ hours. I did that with the rooster I butchered back in March. Meat fell off the bone. Literally. I don't even own a pressure cooker except for my big canner.

New drama. One of the cats turned up with a huge hematoma on one ear. He's a big neutered Tom that weighs 18 pounds. Sweet boy but he lets the older dogs chew on him, literally. All in fun. he loves it. I've spent the afternoon sticking a hypo in his ear and tapping off more than a cc at a time. Poor baby.

Diva I am in the same boat with graves just no thyroid

Hi guys,

Back from 2 weeks hiking and a BYC respite.

Spooky Slot Canyon, it's about 9 inches wide in most parts. This is Dsqard trying to help someone who fell down 10 feet into the slot canyon. Pretty difficult when you are sardined into it yourself. View attachment 1783212

Climbed up to the top of a waterfall at Zion View attachment 1783213

Cable Mountain, Zion. This is the ruins of an old cableworks that used to take timber from the rim to the valley floor in only a few seconds (weeks by road)View attachment 1783214

Buckskin gulch, not sure what could go wrong here. View attachment 1783215

Also buckskin gulch View attachment 1783216

This moron thought that sitting in the middle of the road at Forrest Gump Point right outside Monument Valley was a good idea.
