The Old Folks Home

@CapricornFarm. You are getting your Pup?:celebrate So happy for you my friend! I have to back read to find out more about it but congratulations. If there is room in your heart there is room in your home. Will eagerly await pictures!

Sunshine here today....until the next round of rain moves in. We had over two inches yesterday. We've seen 6 inches in 8 hours so not the most we've gotten but considering it was added to the 2 and 3/4s we'd gotten before yesterday it adds up. Everything is just soggy. All hope is lost for the chicken run. They don't even want to go out in it and I can't blame them.

Gotta go let the birds out...not that it will do any good. Found one of my Welsummer hens sitting out in a downpour last night. Stupid bird didn't have the sense to go in where it was dry. She wouldn't let me towel dry her so she is air drying. Are they really that dumb or do they have to work at it?

My interview is up! Yay! Also got a 6 month premium membership for doing it. Double YAY!

I could hardly fall asleep last night , I was so excited! Paps are hard to find and very expensive. It was a wonderful surprise from Hubby.
Not sure if I posted this pic here.

I need to go read the interview! Congrats!

So the pup was an anniversary gift!?

Man, hard to top that!
Yes, and he surprised me! Said we were going to look at a windmill! The breeder came out with the pup in her arms, under a magazine! Then we went in and got to meet Mom and Dad and the other 3 pups. I was crying, so happy.

I went to the dentist yesterday to get a permanent crown put on the baby tooth that broke in January....It did not fit! The Dentist could not modify it enough since it is porcelain.

I will get the second try on sometime in June now. The tooth broke on January 7th so it will be more than 6 months to get the tooth fixed.

One day I will be able to eat normally again! :barnie

Ron, I'm sorry that happened. They must have sent the wrong crown. Maybe the dentist needs to have a chat with the lab he uses. They should be putting a rush on it, since the lab screwed up.
Since it is a baby tooth that I have kept in good shape all these years, they do not take it seriously!

The insurance would not cover it and the dentist says stuff like look at that little guy!

When I found out as a teen that I did not have permanent teeth for that tooth set, I was told that they would not last past my mid 20s. Here I am at 59 and three of them are going strong!

After this, I will have get a new dentist.
