The Old Folks Home

:yuckyuck

I went to the dentist yesterday to get a permanent crown put on the baby tooth that broke in January....It did not fit! The Dentist could not modify it enough since it is porcelain.

I will get the second try on sometime in June now. The tooth broke on January 7th so it will be more than 6 months to get the tooth fixed.

One day I will be able to eat normally again! :barnie

Going back on the lower denture found one spot couldn't figure it out jaw pain on the right have a great Dr on this makes a huge difference started gargling in salt water but going in tomorrow ... good luck on the baby tooth :fl

I hope that the pain issue is resolved for the dentures!

Cap, that would have had me in tears also. No wait, the day we went to 'look' at the pups it was gray, chilly and rainy. These five little eager for affection faces popped up over the top of the pen fencing and started jumping up and down like they were on pogo sticks. I saw their little faces, so much like our Dingos and my hand flew to my mouth and all I could say was "Oh my" with tears welling in my eyes. I knew they were all coming home with us.

It's a trip. They are teething in their molars and big canines. Discovered this afternoon that they had chewed a hole in the new drywall in the utility room Cattle dogs, God Love 'em. Is all I can say, LOL

@ronott1...maybe just shove a Chicklette in there and call it quits...just kidding. I would be very frustrated if I were you. I had a similar situation happen. I was trying to get a new partial. I have a special needs mouth for lack of a better way of describing it. Little teeth with big roots. It's hard to do any appliances with it. After three tries with the lab and no fits, I said, I'll just stick with my old partial..thankyouverrymuch. It's a pain in the mouth literally but it works and that's all that matters in the end.

That is similar to working with a baby tooth!

The tools do not fit well either

I would be looking for a new dentist. It is hard to find a good one!

Maybe you need to spray the walls with bitter apple.

Maybe you need to go to a pediatric dentist! They probably don't do crowns though.

Until then, enjoy your pablum
That is a big part of the problem, baby teeth only get short term steel crowns that are only good for several years
