The Old Folks Home

In a good way if you have UTI's I think.

Lost 3 of the 6 I got last spring. 4 of the remaining 16 are 7 years old though the EE is still laying 2-3 L-XL per week. One of the 2015's is laying only really thin shelled eggs. Figured I better "chicken up" to keep the "factory" running.

Ah okay. That’s good to know. Thanks!

And ah okay that makes sense!! Similar reason to why I added more haha

Micro I'm guessing what I mailed you never arrived.

My sister claims anything I send her or her adult daughter never arrives. Except of course the envelopes with checks in them. Funny I would think that's the mail that never arrives. Why would someone take envelopes with nothing inside. They could tell that by shaking them.
????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

No, nothing from you has arrived here DD.:hit When did you mail it out? Our mailman is a piece of work. The lady sub is an angel so maybe he has it shoved under his drivers seat. Which is why I won't let him deliver chicks to me. He'd shake the box to make the contents peep for sure.

Well, went from 80 birds today counting chicks to 37. Man what a relief. Neighbor just delivered my butchered birds to us. They said the hens only had a few eggs in a few birds so it was a good call. Also got rid of a lot of extra roosters.

Now I can get to cleaning.....if the rain holds off long enough.

Gout isn't really related to urine or UTIs per se, however there's usually 2 causes for gout: an over producer (body makes too much uric acid) or an under excreter (body doesn't pee out enough uric acid). So I guess technically I could link it to urine.

Diva, we get a couple hot weeks here, most years. Like highs in the 90s and all that humidity jazz. The historical monthly high in June is 75, with a historical monthly low of 53.

Or gout sufferers can be like me and have normal uric acid levels and all the symptoms of gout!

Cherry juice and cherries are highly recommended as a natural anti inflammatory agent for arthritis pain in general.

Huh guess I need to eat some more cherries then!!

Might help my fingers :hide

Not only that, they are yummy!
These golden laced polish are eating like crazy! I got a free mystery chick, which is a Salmon Faverolle pullet!

True!! I want to grow some but it’ll take forever :hit

I eat cherries, apples, mangoes, pineapple, kiwi, blueberries, blackberries, and quite a variety of fruit simply because I like them. I'm sure they've all got some sort of beneficial properties, but I'm not always aware of what they are. Even if they didn't, I'd still eat most of them anyway. I don't care for raspberries, persimmons, or figs. I think that's the only 3 I don't like.
