absolutely no fireworks here for sale.... You can buy them in Mexico... But Not interested.

I think each county has its own regs if Ronott can have them.

Miss Brandy gets Whale eyed and positions herself in a door way same as she does for the lawn mower man or the Vacuum cleaner .... Sweet girl

Fireworks are on a county by county basis in California.

I would be fine with them getting rid of them in the entire state though. When the fire with the most acreage was caused by a spark while pounding in a stake, fireworks are very dangerous. A couple of weeks ago a fire was started by children on a hike with their parents from sparklers. This was up out of Rockland

Already 86 here.

Got up early and...

Now I'm filthy and sweaty and exhausted and hot.

I'm going to ask Dh to take my truck to work tonight, while I take his car. His car is the only one that the AC is working. There is a huge stadium on the other side of town, and from the part I could see above the trees last year, it has a spectacular fireworks display. If it's too hot to actually sit in the stadium, and it may well be, we can sit in the car with it running some, and the AC on, and see everything while staying cool.

I am afraid to get hopefull.
:fl Sounds like a great place!
Here seems as though folks start setting off the fireworks at least the weekend before whatever day the 4th occurs on.
Thankfully they are illegal here without a permit. Doesn't stop some people but I would really not care for nightly explosions for a week.

Now I'm filthy and sweaty and exhausted and hot.
But feel good about fixing those stones.
