I like to build too, but DH has better skills and is overall stronger; I usually decide the design and try to figure out solutions to little problems.Mine has it, and he passed it on to me?!![]()

Looking good!!Ok sewers... I've got my capes made, but I need to put the finishing touches on them, and I need help. I want to put their initial on the back. E and A. I cut out the easiest looking A I could find to start, and now I'm at a loss. The directions for the cape also give a superhero mask (which I didn't dare to attempt), and they say to X stitch any ends that aren't hemmable such as the eye holes but the fabric is majorly shedding (I think it's satin or something masquerading as satin) and I'm not sure that'll work for the A/E. So then I thought I could hem the A (maybe) but how does one hem the hole of the a?
I promise this is the last of the sewing questions for awhile.

Looking good!!
Clip 1/2 inch in each of the three corners and fold back to hem. Use plenty of pins to secure the folded material before sewing. THis is neater and just requires a little more work.
DId I make sense?
