Sorry about your tree, Arielle.  We've had strange weather this week -- for January anyway -- 75 degrees, tornado watches, lots of rain and wind.  Now it's clear and should get into the 20's tonight.

The next few days are supposed to be sunny and almost 40 here. It will almost feel like spring if it weren't for all the snow on the ground.

Did you see there's over 1000 people requesting permits for the days we want? And they'll only pick 20 people?

Breathe SCG, we will either win passes or we won't. We have as good a chance as the other people who have entered for those days. Is all good.

I know I can't wait until after 9AM to find out. Still going to be an awesome trip if we don't get to go to the Buttes. I think that hike I suggested the other day will be pretty spectacular!

Good morning ladies and maybe Gentlemen. I have been lurking for awhile here and Just have to say, this thread is the best way to wake up and read each morning. I get lots of laughs, I esp loved the chicken censor. I did not know you had to censor naked chickens pictures til I saw it here. laughs. You all kill me.... BUT...... yes there is a but here.

On a subject dear to my heart I just have to say to all the Starbucks lovers....

IT'S JUST FREAKING COFFEE!!!!!!!!

ok, thank you for that. I will never understand why someone would pay the price of half a pd of coffee for something you can make at home. cheaper.

For the 6 something or more dollars, I can buy a almost whole thingie of coffee and favor it the way I want. sheesh.

Ok that is all. oh yea, what parts do you have to censor on a naked chicken???

Didn't GA. have a toroado? I saw pictures of an area called Adriasville? Did I spell that right? Wow, it really tore that place up. It's up in the north/west area I think. My son is way down south, so I didn't worry so much. I feel for those poor folks though..and it happened in Jan!!

Have to welcome our newcomer! I am sure no one will mind that you drink the coffee you make yourself at your very own house. I agree, it's just coffee..but then again, I don't drink coffee!!

You guys are killing me!!!!

My capp machines are in storage. I live in a cracker box so there not enough room for my things here.I even have to scale down the size of my packages of toilet paper! LOL I do make frapps in the summer, but I'm not as good at it all as a barrista. Plus. Coffee is not just coffee. Yes...there's Folgers in my kitchen a a drip coffee maker. At home I drink it black. When my husband was alive, I used to order green beans and home roast and grind those suckers. That was good coffee! He didn't drink coffee, but he bought it for me and new how picky I was about it. Now, I just can't afford the good stuff. There are so many coffees and they all taste different. If you aren't really into coffee, coffee is just coffee. I remember when you had white or wheat bread and everyone said it's just bread. LOL I do love Starbucks, but if we still had a Peet's, I'd be going back and forth. My coffees aren't cheap, but other than my birds I don't have much else. I don't go out, I don't have friends that I visit or that visit me, I rarely buy clothes since I don't like the way I look in anything, I don't buy anything expensive like I did when I worked my behind off for the stuff and should have sacked it away,but had a house full of kids. Money went out the door 6 times a day. LOL Now? I go get my coffee. So at times I put my 2 pleasures together and drink my vente Zebra Mocha or White Mocha or a Mocha Frapp with a carmel drizzle and watch the chickens. Oh and the chickens like Starbucks better too. At least it seems like it when they get hold of my cup. Yes I have wired chickens at times. LOL

OK, I've stood up for my addictions. I feel good. Real good.

I don't have any naked chickens to hide, but I had a Lav AM hen that was naked for months during moult.

She looked aweful!

Glad you joined us. I think your posts are gonna be fun. But both of you back off the coffee. I don't eat off brand peanut butter either.
