Long day, got 3 pkt of corn in, and building fencing from sticks an twine to enlarge the turkey run. THey seem to enjoy basking in the sun and laying in the leaves to preen.

the sand is our soil lol. we have no mud. just sand

That is an active volcano across the bay. Its a wonderful sight as dawn is breaking and the clouds have not covered the peak. Its my favorite time of the day.

WOW Oz....and why are you in California with that waiting for you in the Philippines? Imagine those chickens on that beach. I saw that in Kauai and it was the coolest.

Mrs Oz is begging to come back. She has spent 4 years there as we go through the adoption process with our kids. She misses the theater, opera, restaurants and intelligent conversation we used to have.

Once she has had her fill of all that, we can re-visit the idea of retiring there. Until then, I will just have chicken visitation rights. My wife and family first.
