Diva, you just made me snort my coffee! On the cat. She didn't like it much, but it gave her an excuse to groom herself and give me dirty looks. Thanks. She'll bring me another lizard, now. I just know it.

I just found this thread and ohhhhhhhhh is it a relief. Even tho I am only 25 I have 3 kids and feel like I am 70!!!! LOL! I love a mature discussion where it is not filled with OH MY GAWSH LIKE BLAH BLAH BLAH.

diva, I .. like..know what you mean..I mean, like, really, why do they like that word like so much...Wow, it's not like there aren't other words that can be used. Like, what if you decided to use the word ...umm..man, it's like, I can't think of it now!

Ha, I had to stop myself from using that word when I had kids home. It's been going on for quite a while now, the kids are still using it, and when I say kids, I mean anyone under 50.

I am under 50 and I can honestly say that I do not use that word. I also discourage my kids from using that word. To me it makes someone look less educated and smart to put "like" after ever other word. It is a pet peeve of mine. I do use it when I am messing around with someone or something to that nature.
