I have stayed with standard size because, as it is, I have large turkeys and a muscovy drake that can pin a std fowl rooster!![]()

Hi Diva! She does have a similar look to the faverolles, but I promise, there are no faverolles or EE's in the making of them!the beautiful pullet facing the camera looks like she has some salmon favorelles behind her and maybe a touch of EE plus silkie..

I will say that it is the mix of three breeds and one of the breeds is Silkie!![]()
It would be interesting to try to get blue eggs from them by breeding them to bantam Ameraucana's though! The only problem would be that it might breed out the awesome spikey poufyness on the rooster crest. So I think I will just stick with the white eggs. Sometimes it is best to leave well enough alone. I might try to get some mottled Silkie Flowers later, but I need more pen space.![]()

But that would be a cool project.
So many projects, so little time!
I have a serious addiction to my chickens! That is why I am here!![]()

You are too funny!I feel impelled to announce I don't have any chicken breeding projects. It's just a free-for-all around here. The Cayuga ducks are reproducing just fine. The chickens are making some interesting crosses and those crosses are also mixing it up further.
It's one reason why I occasionally participate in the BYC Hatches, so I can get some more easily identifiable breeds.
