The Old Folks Home

X2!
Yes, that's what I meant, that there were some good and bad reasons to stay away from chickens.  Yours is a good reason, but that doesn't make it easier.  I'm so sorry, Chicka, but how sweet of the hubster to agree to take care of the ones you already have so that you can enjoy them from a distance.  Give him a hug for me (and here's one for you, too!)

Thank you I will. Thank you.
I think he enjoys them too.
:hugs

I hope your lungs get better!

Thank you

Chickadoodles Hope you have a smooth recovery - we want you here, with or without chickens

With or without chickens chickadoodles...we want you here for sure!

Take care, enjoy those chickens that are left from a distance if you have to. Just watching them is always enough to bring a smile. I love going out and just watching them when I need an upper lifter.

Thank you everyone for your support. That means allot to me! I do still have 20 or so chickens and 5 Turkey. And I will get to enjoy them however it will be. But for now i can see them from my porch and that helps.

Chika I hope you get to feeling better. It will definitely be an upper watching your chickens however you can. I will be praying for you!

I feed all of my chickens and Ducks layer feed. I guess I should stop, In this small town I live in all the choices you have are grower, layer pellets, and scratch feed. Which is better?
