SCG be careful what you wish for because someday you will have the pleasure. They honestly are mostly a bother during the day but it is the waking up a few times a night that is really a PIA. I just want a full night's sleep is all. Men with balloons coming out of their drawers will not give you that either

I guess it depends on when you start & finish with the men. I guess its a matter of perspective.

Hot flashes..I'm too old for them I guess. I turn 60 today. I'm past that, thank goodness.

Now, I'm wondering why my avatar has changed, why did it change? I did delete one of the two photos I had the same.. one being, the avatar that I had. Guess I'll go and fix that. See..don't need more than one thing happening at an older age, hot flashes...forgetfulness..what did I do now? Oh dear!

Happy B- day Cynthia.

We have a big storm blowing in. 45 at 8am 25 now and still dropping. So I thought I would be extra nice and made the flock apple cinnamon oatmeal as a treat. Half thought it was poison (wouldn't even try it)and the others went nuts. WWF and MMA ain't got nothing on a hen after candy.lol.They are so fun with new things I love the reactions.

THey are better than Tom and Jerry.

also amazing is the length of time from sunset to darkness. at our farm the sun goes down and 25 mins later its pitch black. Even in the peak of summer.

When I was in Paris, I could not believe it was still twilight at 10pm

Little Rock Arkansas near the western edge of the Central time zone is about as bad a Paris in Summer. I remember Sunup and Sundown both happened very quickly on Guam which is just about centered on the Philippines but the day length didn't vary noticeably from month to month.

Oz, I listen to NPR everyday, and get an update on the diaster in the Philipines daily. Assistence takes so long to get rolling, they saya week after a diaster is normal. I find that lengthhof time to be too long. I guess this kind of help is not well organized , like under the UN. REcovery will be a long process. I plan to have my son follow this disaster as part of his social studies world event paper that he does every couple of weeks. I want him to see the long term effect of the storm . . .I feel for the mother still searching the wreckage for her 2 children.
