Thank you for the Birthday wishes everyone. Had a great day. With 12 kids, got a lot of phone calls, and a few visits the last couple of days.
My DH's birthday was yesterday. We never forget one another's birthday. Nope.

Is your anniversary today?

My mom's birthday, her wedding anniversary and Christmas were all really close in December. My dad was always able to remember. He claimed it was the purgatory of "birt-a-mas" - having to get 3 gifts and 3 cards in a relatively short period of time, but I think he was secretly grateful that he could remember all of them easily.

Also every December 1st he strung TP up across the porch, wrote HAPPY BIRTAMAS on it and had her cut it while we kids clapped.

Happy Thursday, folks. Friday is right around the corner.

I dont think that is an issue right now. It may become a problem with rebuilding funds but the current administration has blown wide open major corruption scams and is doing a lot to bring transparency to all departments. Of course this cannot be controlled at every level but hopefully it will filter down.

I encourage donations through UN or Red Cross or people like Doctors Wilthout Borders who a first responders.

Last week my wife had to relocate from Manila back to "our" island, Negros. To do so she had to catch several ferries and drive accross Islands like Panay - which sustained severe damage. She said it was heartbreaking seeing people with their hands out along the roads but aslo comforting seeing trucks moving towards the area with relief. I hope it picks up.

That is great to hear - and yes, UN, DWB and Red Cross are rock solid and well experienced with such crises. I heard multiple reporters feeling guilty that they had water to drink when surrounded by so many who did not. There was also a story about how the donations fall off sharply within I think it was 10 days after a crisis is first reported, so now is the time for us to pick up the decrease and give what we can, even if it's a small donation.

You must really look forward to your time there, wishing you safe travels.

My goat is having some major hot flashes. And is in love with one of the driveway markers. I wasn't planning on breeding them this year, but if this continues every 21 days I might give in.

What do you get if you breed a goat to a driveway marker?

Oz unfortunately hot flashes don't make you think of that at all

They honestly are mostly a bother during the day but it is the waking up a few times a night that is really a PIA. I just want a full night's sleep is all. Men with balloons coming out of their drawers will not give you that either

it means wandering. the doctors of ancient greece figured women who were hysterical were so because their uterus would not sit still.

I wont see Friday. I get on a plane Thursday 9pm, and 14 hrs later get off Saturday at 4am. ThDateline is a trick.

On Dec 1 I get back on a plane at 10pm, fly 13 hrs and get off 3 hours before I left.
