Just enough to be pretty!

That system dragged a lot of warm air through here. The temperature was around 70o at midnight last night. Good thing for us - we got more than 2" of rain; I'd hate to know what it would have added up to had it been snow. The temperature has been dropping all day; it'll probably be in the upper 20's when we get up on Turkey Day. That's quite "brrr" enough for me!

Probably would have been 14 inches of snow, depending on how much moisture was in it.

It's nice and warm 'round the wood stove. Maddy and DD are making cuppy cakes! With funfetti!

Hahaha...a "fast growing tree or bush" would be......corn...or okra!! If I planted a real tree, the chickens would all be dead by the time it got big enuff for them to hide under!!

A Mimosa grows pretty fast. Burning Bush as well. I have both in abundance.

Those are one of my favorite kinds of cupcakes, although if you put it in a cup and call it a cake, I'll eat it.
