I felt this morning that it was fast approaching absolute zero.
I know my joints felt like all motion was ceasing.

I have to say that it's 25 degrees out, almost warm enough to go jacketless. Amazing how you get acclimated quickly to the cold.
Got shoveled out again, and while I was shoveling I let the goats out to romp. They were romping on the front porch and through the snowbanks where I could see them, and then in an instant they were gone. I followed the goat prints around the side of the house to the back door. When I passed the corner of the house, I saw that the goats had run to the door, ripped the wreath off it and were chowing down on the wreath.
Pippy knew immediately that she was in DEEP TROUBLE and started to make a run for it while trying to scarf down the wreath. Caramel was much more bold and required me to physically break her up from her prey.
Never a dull moment here.
I should run a Christmas Tree Disposal business.
Actually, they aren't that big on Fraser Fir (the most popular Christmas tree around here). We call ours "four -footed chipper-shredders" because they'll take a lot of other stuff, though!
How funny! lolI have to say that it's 25 degrees out, almost warm enough to go jacketless. Amazing how you get acclimated quickly to the cold.
