I am 51

I have had 5 aussie passports and 2 american. I still use both countries - depending on where I am going.

the american one has very few actual stamp pages so I am going to have to pay a chunk of money to get them to add pages. the problem is i dont like being without it in case of emergency.

i stand over the immigration people and instruct them to squeeze stamps in between as i only have one clean page left

Heck, I'd like to visit Maine in the summer right now.

It is absolutely gorgeous, and green, and usually not hot and nice and cool in the evenings.

There's a place to get lobster on the beach between two lighthouses in Portland. It's a lovely sight.

SCG - I appreciate the sympathy but it is not necessary. I just had the best time i have had in MANY YEARS! In spite of the fact that I was (am) sick, we had a blast. It was even better than when I was young and prone to party often. We sang and danced and laughed for three days. It was awesome! I laughed so hard, several times, that I had tears running down my leg!

My hats off to Oklahoma, they are a class act and have a great fan base and played a heck of a game.

I may share some stories of our adventure, but some are not appropriate for this for
forum.

As for fun plans. I've had enough fun for the entire New Year........

I am glad you had a great time. I wish Alabama had won but both teams played a great game.

Roll Tide!!!!

Now it is time for War Eagle!!!!

A snowy owl hangs out on Cape Hatteras last month. Fourteen of the owls, native to the Arctic tundra, have been spotted in North Carolina since the beginning of December. Photo courtesy Michelle Frazier

(This seems to have a mind of its own.

I know it's been a bit on the cool side this year, but when even the Arctic wildlife starts heading into the Carolinas for the winter, that's sayin' somethin'!

Quote: SKip the big hot spots for tourist in the Summer-- the early fall is wonderful. I loved exploring the sea shore with my kids-- the same beaches I explored in the 70's. Even ran into a lobsterman-- my mothers plumber!!

We are doomed this winter-- BOston is already over it's normal average. I like the snows , just not the artic cold.

I went to lovely Portland today, which was 20 degrees warmer than central Maine. Apparently 20 degrees is the new temperature at which I have to take off my jacket or sweat.

Came home to find my showgirl's butt covered in poo and goo and other unmentionables and her huddled under the nest boxes. Brought her inside, performed a poo- and goo-ectomy on her bottom and then...

I blow dried a chickens butt.

I had lovely photos of Cape Elizabeth/Portland Head Lighthouse with the frozen ocean spray on the rocks to share... but I just spent the past hour doing the above and now my treadmill calls.
