Ron I love the looks of the Jaehorns they are so pretty! And I love the SG Dorkings they are beautiful! If I ever get this hatching thing figured out I will have to talk my DH into us getting some of your Dorkings....

A couple of BYCrs have Jaehorns locally too....Very tempting.

Some of us just hide it better than others. . . .

I still find white eggs "strange" but interesting having grown up on brown eggs except for Easter egg dying. WE didn't eat those!

Education is a slow process-- he''ll think about it and someday he'll be buying eggs. Eggs pastureized???

Speak for yourself Arielle..I think I have shown my oddness pretty good.

But..having said that..lol..love me or leave me.

Really though Linda..great story..actually says a lot about you. You don't judge folks too much do you? :) You understand that not everyone understands what we actually know about chickens and their eggs. I know a lot, but am finding out that I still have some to learn.
Don't laugh you all..I just learned on BYC yesterday, what the word dunn meant. Ha..thought someone had just marked an egg with the name of a roo or a hen..didn't know that it was a color until I looked it up. Pretty color too! Ok, you can give out a chuckle.

Thanks I would like some.

I have to wait till we some some new pens built. But would you mind sending me a pm with what the price is for a dozen hatching eggs?
First I have to talk her into releasing some eggs....She has been breeding them for a lot of years but is worried that they are not good enough yet. I think I can talk her into it as long as it is clear that they are not up to SOP yet. Actually, in my opinion, she has some of the best SG Dorkings in the United States now.

I will get back to you!

Ok thank you. Ron it does not matter if they are SOP or not with me. I am raising meat birds to be processed.
