Kids are asking for a snowdome. Will snowblow the yard into a big pile and let is sit and settle, then dig it out. Not an original idea by any means, my brother created such a monstrostiy as a teen.

Finally tally is about 12 inches. Very pretty!

SCG-- how about a raffle at the local library as a fund raiser?? Many people want such blankets for shower gifts and this one is very lovely.

I have kept most of the baby blankets I received. I just can't part with the thoughtful ness of so many friends that knew better than I the number of blankets little ones soil in far too many ways.

Gardening question---

Looking for a reputable source to find the last frost dates for my region. In the past years the zone has changed according to some sites, but not others. WOuld like to use a reliable source. Suggestions??

I have four turkeys in my flock with fifty chickens (or so) and 20-some ducks. Plus five geese. No problems with blackhead.

There are also a zillion wild turkeys here-abouts.

This is the reason I want to add turkeys to my flock - have you had any problems, and if so, how did you manage them?

Thanks :)

I personally have had no problems at all with the mixing of the birds. It was recommended to me a long time ago by another breeder. One of the Toms tried to take after my 3 year old grandson last year which left that particular Turkey in bad favor around her.
My grandmother used to love to use turkey eggs to make her Portuguese sweet bread & I have someone asking for eggs for baking so I am looking forward to promoting them & carrying on the tradition.
