I do enjoy the jokes on this thread so much everyone! Thank you for posting and sharing them. I am not great with jokes I don't hear any to share, but I sure do enjoy the ones on here they make me laugh and we all need that...

Thank you, I'm not one to come up with the jokes either. I do remember one though. Are you ready? Here goes.

What did one candle say to the other candle? Are you going out tonight?

Ahh, I like laughing at that only joke I know. I think it is actually called something else when it's a question funny, but too tired to remember what that is. I do know, that it isn't a knock knock joke though.

The ones I told were told to me by a very gifted musician, when he was 5. He would tell jokes in between playing his fiddle. He's I think, 6 or 7 now. Carson Peters. Such a sweety. Maddy loved seeing him play. Lord, that child loves bluegrass, lol. Even though her Mamaw is a rattlehead.

This is Carson the first time he played at the Cranberry Thistle, which is where I worked for nearly ten years with Maddy's fairy Godmothers, who owned the Thistle. Sadly the Thistle closed down two years ago after the death of Mad's Godfather. I so miss that place. It was the only place besides home where I felt happy and safe. Even when it was jam packed. I can stil make a killer latte.

Thanks tnspurs for sharing that video! Wow I do love blue grass and that kid playing the fiddle is killer!

The Thistle was in Jonesborough, the Storytelling capital of the world. We would have members of our local storytelling guild tell there every wednesday night...and during the International Storytelling festival all the storytellers would come to the Thistle after hours for coffee and soupbeans and cornbread. Or a slice of Joseph's coconut cake. Bluegrass was played there every weekend. (Or whenever someone showed up with an instrument.) We also had bluegrass "jam" sessions just happen right out of the blue. Park Overall was there more than once. She is hilarious. One time Pauley Parette(sp) from NCIS came in for a smoothie (not a Caf-Pow) and we all took a photo together with her and she signed it. Jo and Nancy still have that photo. Folks fro the Carter fold had been in...this place was magical. It really was. We would find any excuse to dress up in costume, and had many annual events just for that purpose...mysyery dinners with plots set in the 20's, a Hillbilly Luau, Hank Williams tribute concert complete with a Hank look-alike contest. Rob McNurlin always played that. Maddy would dance all night if we let her.

It sounds like a wonderful place to have been involved in spurs! Thanks for sharing all these with us.

Ok, they are keeping him. Sent him to ultra sound. Get this! The home health nurse that came yesterday to put the new Foley in, didn't do it right! She didn't even get it into the bladder. She filled the balloon up...in the urethra! Ouch! Not too happy a camper right now. My son on the other hand sure sounds a lot happier. Had a nurse put one in the right way, he said, this time it didn't hurt. He has feeling inside of his mid waist inside area. Not so much on the outside. Strange how the nerves work around the body. Anyway, they are keeping him tonight to make sure he stops bleeding. Hoping the Urologist comes in, and says..let's work on these two things now. Richard is ready to get this done. I see appts. coming up, instead of them keeping him there and just doing this. The stone has gotten quite large.

SCG..yes, great joke. Will have to tell Richard that one. :)

BF has the week off for a vacation, and I'm taking the day off as a much needed mental health day. The texts regarding work started before 0715.

I think someone should study the phenomena of sick days. If there's 5 days in a work week you'd expect an approximately equal amount of sick calls each day (about 20%). At our work people are usually sick either Monday or Friday. I just don't get it.

Cyn, I'm so glad it seems like something not too major was wrong. I know healthcare workers are human but you'd think all nurses would need to pass "how to insert a foley 101"
