What is a rattlehead?
My Older brother used to be the sound man at Tanneyhill Opry.

I do! It's strong, too. I am grateful for that.

Quote: I won't get retirement at this point-- I stayed home to raise my kids well ( no offense to those that want or need to work) -- DH and I felt that we could do a better job of raising the kids and be willing to have less if I stayed home-- Little did I realize the huge economic price: no immediate income, no credit for the time home, poor job opportunities when I can jump back in. Most stay at home moms I know are well educated women that work for minimum wage, at part time jobs. Financially I wish I had a do-over option. lol
But then I would have missed out on some of the best people I have ever met . . . . .

How does donating benefit you-- don't you loose it?? Or is someone kind enough to donate it back??
Quote: There is another method, done by blocks, where the quilting is done blcok by blco before assempling the blocks. AND that way you can use a machine to do the quilting, too.
As quilting is murderous on the hands, I can't imagine why that design method became so popular.

We need a picture of this project!!!!There's no limit on sick leave at my work, just annual. I have about 3 months of sick leave right now. I'm saving it up to have my mental breakdown paid. I'm thinking I'm going to need 6 months.
As far as donation goes, it doesn't benefit me at all. You can donate it with your name on it so that people know you were nice, but I just do it anonymously and usually to people that I know on the donation list.
I've finished stippling!!! That was ridiculously tedious and hard on my hands. BF wants to go out now, so I'm going to swing by the fabric store and get some binding material and then hopefully finish it tonight. I'm tired of looking at it. I do really like the stippling look on the quilt, but I've got to figure out a better way to do it so that I have use of my upper body afterwards. Doing it in 2 days isn't going to cut it for me again, and leaving it on the sewing machine during breaks doesn't work well either, the cats thought it was their own personal bed so then I had to cover it in bedsheets while I took a break. That was just a few hour break, I figure if I'm at work they'd figure out how to "dig" under the bedsheets to lay on their "bed."
