I have never understood why-- but old temples give me a serene feeling . . . . a friend calls me an old soul . . .
Reminds me of the temple used in a Laura Croft movie!

There's a good reason for that.
Tomb Raider was filmed there.

you can pull that little 914 to California lolVery nice pictures.
I've had a lot of old cars and trucks but just can't find the time to work on them any more.
I still have one more to sell, a 74 Porsche 914.
My first car was a '50 Dodge, Wayfarer Sportabout convertible with a flat head 6 and fluid drive transmission.
I'll have to find the picture of my grandfathers first truck, a Diamond T.

Congratulations on the rain out west.
Praying for those that are in the ice band of the next storm. I hope it gets cold enough tomorrow that ours will be more snow than ice. I'm right on the line between ice an snow.
I'm running the generator today to make sure it's ready.

I always wanted a 914-6 but as the years go buy the 6's go way up in price so i thought it would be fun to make one or put a Carbed turbo 231 buick motor in there. That's a sore spot here and the beginning of a hoarding story.
A year and a half after our Ford plant closed where I had worked for 3 decades, my wife and I were in the kitchen having coffee before work.
I looked out the window and said to her, "Ford kicked me out 18 months ago, and there's still 5 Fords in the driveway." I went right out and bought a '94 Saab 900 turbo convertible (the one with the whale tail). I loved it so much I bought a '97 900 for my son and a '99 9-3 turbo for my daughter. They were all cheap on e-bay.
At one time in the driveway there were 3 Saabs (1 local, 1 from DC, 1 from Boston), the Porsche (e-bay Florida), 2 MGBs (1 from e-bay local), 2 Ford cars (1 e-bay local), a Ford E-250 cargo van (e-bay from Florida) and a Ford F-700 bucket truck (e-bay from Texas) - not to mention the bobcat. The '97 Saab was totaled and replaced by a '85 BMW 528e.
Didn't sit well with wife. We're down to 2 Fords and the Porsche but we're keeping my daughter's Ford while she's gone. I don't have a single truck nor the bobcat any more.
No wonder when a hawk dropped a chicken into the courtyard of the nearby retirement home, the owner figured it came from here. He said, "I didn't know you had chickens but I knew you had a lot of weird stuff up here so I figured you had to have chickens. (several of the cars were gone by then though).
Thanks. One thing DH does not have and I do is a secret weapon.....you guys here. If I run into problems or even think I have problems I go straight to BYC for help. Day 20 and DH is still seeing rocking eggs. I so want these ameraucanas. This will be our third attempt.Good luck with your hatch and in your competition.![]()
When it comes to hatching they are the pro's and I still a newbie. I did finally manage a 99% hatch rate. But that was only because I hatched 5 out of 6 chicks.Thanks.
