The Old Folks Home

Thank you guys for ask the well wishes and encouragement! You guys are the best! I am thinking hard about looking into getting a student loan while I'm on unemployment. I feel like a future employer wouldn't look down on that? Than you guys so much for the advice as well. I'm really looking forward to taking a little time off and getting my chickens and garden going! Here are the, much anticipated I'm sure ;-), photos of my three week old babies!

dragonfly check with your unemployment office before making any decisions. I don't know if it's a federal or state guideline, but when DH was laid off, he was told he would have to relinquish unemployment pay if he went to school or did any volunteer work, as either would indicate he was not available for work and therefore disqualify him.

Thanks Ronott1. They are not bleeding but very aggressive they won't give the other chicks a minutes peace. Constanly going for the feet dragging them and pulling at them. They are Rhode Island reds. I just raise some comets and I never seen them that aggressive.
