I've been trying to do some catching up. Congratulations to the Oz family! Gryeyes, that is a nice set up. My leg looks like a medium sized shark took a bite out of it, but it's healing nicely, and the pain level is good. I've been watching lots of tv, since I have to keep the stupid thing propped up a lot. I've managed to take care of my chickens, and chicks. DH drives me out to the coop, then helps with any lifting. I have managed to keep up with some of the cooking, and housework too. A friend was doing a hatching project for some kids, so I gave her some of my eggs, and she called today. I have 2 new chicks, and more on the way. I set 4 more eggs today, and put 2 eggs into lockdown too. I am impressed with the digital controller DH put on my LG incubator that I use for lockdown. I don't think I will have the radical temperature fluctuations like before, so I hope it will help increase my hatch rates. DH put a security camera on the brooder, which is in my (former) breakfast nook. We have chick tv. Even one of the cats sits on his desk, and watches them. It's funny.
