The Old Folks Home

I have never heard of "frozen turkey bowling" but I have heard of "cow chip tossing". Are we really on a watch list? EEEEEEEEK!

And it is sad

I want to want to be a good and wonderful Christian person, but I truly just want to be bad.

Maybe I need more chickens! Yes! That will keep me out of trouble!

I have been on a couple of threads that were in trouble. It seems like little things get nicked on threads like that.

I do not think we are in that much trouble any more.

Ron can you post pics of the one you made to give us an idea. I know you need to stop the air sac from filling full of air to stop or muffle the crow. Right?

It might do that too, but it also keeps him from fully extending the neck so that the crow is not as forceful.

It does not work with my Pita Pinta. The one I am using is in a roo. I will work on getting a picture. I might have one somewhere. If you make one, do not glue it together first. The glue from a glue gun will clog up the sewing machine needle.

Sounds like the voice of experience, Ron......

We are hosting a guest dog. Riley, the beloved canine daughter of a friend/neighbor, is staying with us while they go to the beach. Riley is spoiled. She can't be bothered with housebreaking, has no manners, and is diabetic. She has special food, a strict routine, and must have shots every day. I have already been honored with a soft, warm, smelly gift, left in the middle of the floor, AFTER we walked this morning.

I am the only one that is even considered capable of caring for her, and I can expect daily phone calls to check on her. She will be here until next weekend. In return for keeping her, her "Mom" boards my house dog, feeds and waters my outside dog, and checks on the chickens for me while we are on our summer vacation.

I think I get the best end of the bargain!

My DD runs a grooming and boarding shop and some of the Diva's are unbelievable The things they expect. Like carrying about a hugh dog because he needs to go outside but can't really walk anymore.. And the blind and old. Aimee does a good job with them. She spends a lot of time with them and sends a picture everyday to the owner. Usually the dog is smiling right in the camera.

Thanks

Lots of work. Hundreds of links to check.

If you see any bugs, PM me please

Yes, there's a bug. There's a guinea on the first page! It's mocking me!

Anyone have fun weekend plans?

The first collars from Facebook were glued together. They lasted a couple of weeks and fell apart. We tried to sew them back together and messed up the sewing needles. I bought material and velcro from walmart and made my own. I contacted the person from facebook and she shipped me three of the new ones that are professionally made. They do not fall apart.

Dogs are funny. My Daughters dog is named Riley and does that too!

They do not fall apart, yes, but do they work? A lot of money for one rooster
