The Old Folks Home

Thanks Ron. This is cotton fabric and I just sewed on spot on each end of the fabric as I have to go get some more velcro maybe at the fabric store. I put the little collar on a year old rooster that does crow and he faught it so hard then laid down like he was going to die. It was not that tight I put my finger between the collar and his neck. But I loosened it up more and will tighten it some more tomorrow and see how he does. I really need some more velcro so I can make several and see which style might work better.
They do not like them at first. They get used to them quickly though.

the one I ordered from MPC is working like a charm.
The Rooster Collar from MPC looks very good. It really is worth trying.

I am going to get one on an Arkansas Blue--he is a very pretty splash Boy that I plan on using for breeding next season.

I am going to be selfish next year and keep them for myself. Mine have been in Winters since last December and I really miss them(Actually I miss the eggs....The eggs are so pretty....)

Thanks, I sure was hoping to see a pic of one that show's it's 11.5" x 4" I am a visual person.

They are not 4 inches wide but a bit less then 2 inches wide. 4 inches would not work.

They are 4 inches long by 1.75 inches wide for a Serama. That is XS.

XL is 1.75 inches x 12 inches for Brahamas and etc.

If your collar is 4 inches wide, no wonder he was uncomfortable.

@Bunnylady you are right.... If I had more kids that would tire me out and keep me out of trouble... But then do you realize just HOW old I would be before they finally left?

(And don't forget those extra expensive college years) As it is, I have FOURTEEN more years before the last one is out of the house.... But he won't be done with school..

Us to some. But we stay pretty busy also. No kids at home but between us we have 7 and 11 grandchildren. We are loving all the little ones! My youngest son will be 19 in 3 months. He wants to go into the Marines like his older brother. UGH. I don't like that in a time of war! My other son has already been to the middle east twice!

If I take it off him, I'll snag you a picture.
I hope so! I will tighten it up tomorrow a little.
I put it on him lose at night and he could still crow in the morning, the next day I tightened it down as much as I was able to and stuck my pinky finger in and it barely fit the whole tip.

This morning my husband said it was working and just sounds like a grumble now lol.

SCG does anyone around there hunt wild hog? Ask around some people love the hunt but won't eat the meat! I have found a couple here that love the hunt but don't eat the meat. They told me I could get some! Yummy! Then it will be time for a pig pickin party!
it sounds like an adventure to hunt wild boar.

Thanks so much subhanalah I would appreciate it very much.
I guess it would be these people have trucks horse trailers and haulers with huge cages and about 12 dogs. They are serious about hog hunting. :)
wouldn't it be much more convenient if they got to Butcher size before they started crowing?

And you know those dogs are having THE TIME OF THEIR LIVES!
