The Old Folks Home

Bama yes, it must have been the same cargo jet that crashed in your living room. obviously you son is trying to find the 'black box recorder.'

OZ not Tylenol, I always heard ASPIRIN for cats, and even that is too good for the one murdering your chickens.

WISHER, you dog may very well have been rammed by a goat BUT, you mentioned her sniffing under the workbench, I think something under there bit or stung her. I hope she is doing okay now.

Taking fried green tomatoes to the next level, eh? They look good.

Storming here, too. Constant thunder for about the last hour. Fortunately, most of the rain has passed to our south, so the mud situation shouldn't be much worse. I am getting rather tired of looking like a Mike Rowe stand-in every time I go out to feed.

It's a nasty mud hole where the ducks are. I've slipped and fallen more times than I can count in that area. With the recent rains (about 4 inches the last 24 hours ... sorry Ron) the goat haus now looks, feels and smells like a mud pit, too.

But... at least I don't have to shovel rain and it's not frozen.

Not having to deal with mud is a benefit of drought. Trying to maintain the 20% reduction in water use is very tough though.

It is now a $500.00 fine for watering more than two days a week. (I am sneaking in a third day though....)
