I would give the broodies some eggs that are close to hatching.

I modified LGs with a STC1000 digital thermostat - it turned them into very reliable styrobators.

That's what I was thinking. Maybe the two middle batches. Then they'll be over being broody sooner. One is currently sitting on infertile eggs in one building and the other keeps getting new eggs added. I have to take action tonight.

I'm using a bank of 4, 12v computer case fans but they were the cheapest I could find and didn't consider how much the dust of chicks hatching would clog them up.
My upgrade is for much more powerful and higher volume hatcher fans and a new incubator controller.

It's more like going through life with blinders on. Not being observant. Regardless of background and education, how can someone become an adult and not know what a rooster is? Ever heard of Foghorn Leghorn?

I'm often amazed at the common things my wife claims she never heard of.

It is not descriptions of us old folks, it is wisdom that has been acquired.

8. Love every minute of your life, even the sad parts because they teach you what happiness truly is.

9. Never wish to be younger if it means giving up the wisdom you have gained. Remember how stupid you were at 19? Who wants to go back to that?
