The Old Folks Home

Quote:
Hey, you can do what a lot of other folks are now doing... Come visit us in Colorado... do some skiing, smoking, drinking, smoking, gambling, smoking, mountain climbing, smoking, fishing, smoking, hunting, NO SMOKING (loaded weapons and all that, but drinking is still OK), and if you move here, you don't have to plant in your neighbors yard :)

Don't forget eating! Whoever is running the 24-hour Taco Bells is gonna make a fortune!

One thing I will point out with chronic pot-smoking is that it tends to rewire your synapses (as does long-term usage of most drugs and alcohol). My DH is a former pothead, he quit, but he's finding late-age depression is something now constant.... and, no, he's not depressed because he gave up pot! So, sure, be all happy and goofy now, but realize there are consequences for treating your body like a playground instead of a temple.

(I'll step off my buzzkill soapbox now....)

Came home from my jailhouse depo to a visual surprise of FOUR (4) pips in the Cinnamon Queen eggs.

Hatching wasn't scheduled to start until midnight tomorrow night. Hope to have tiny fuzzballs in the bator tomorrow morning.

They are four sex--links. Anyone want to guess the ratio of boys:girls? Or the gender of the first one out?

Ronott sorry that was confusing. The senior bus only operates a few hours weekdays, no weekends and no holidays(they make up some of their own).

On most Sundays my brother will take me somewhere I wasn't able to go during the week.
He has Labor Day off and said he'd take me to Hobby Lobby. Tonight he said "IF, they are open Labor Day." I had the perfect come back. "Of course they are, I just called them."

So then some muttering about "probably not ALL of their stores were open". But I had called the one closest to him and Yes they are.
