Now honey, if you're going to be doing poultry close ups can I at least send you some turken eggs? Their smoooooth skin is really photogenic.
Glad Maddie is on the mend. She's a tough cookie.

I do not know about the GMO part but Costco and Raleys are the only two commercial places that I can get beef that tastes like it should.
There is a place called manas meats the processes local beef. It is very tasty!
SCG I am not entranced by the smoothness of their bare necks as you are. I think DH would kill them thinking they needed to be put out of their misery. Now honey, if you're going to be doing poultry close ups can I at least send you some turken eggs? Their smoooooth skin is really photogenic.

tnspursfan from my little understanding of medicine, swelling makes things hurt more. Sounds like she is over the worst part of the pain if the swelling is going down. Sorry about the black eyes but that too shall pass. So glad to hear she is feeling good enough to go home.Scg, she really is. I know adults who would be begging for more pain meds and she just deals. Do you think maybe the swelling damped the pain down some? And the poor thing has two black eyes now that the swelling is going away.

I was going to post something similar. It is the same here. The best beef comes from the local markets. I don't understand the current trend of advertising Angus beef. Most of the feeders I see are black baldies which are half Angus and half Hereford. I wonder what the requirements are for labeling beef as Angus beef. Most likely 50% why don't they call it Hereford beef if they must specify a breed.
Thank you!chicka, they are beautiful! Enjoy!
perchie, at 98 years old you feed her anything, and everything she wants, when she wants, and how she wants. LOL! My grandfather died when he was 96. He LIKED McD's hamburgers, and wanted one at least once a week. He didn't like anything else they had, but he had to have that hamburger. 3 years after he passed, we were still finding his stashes of candy bars he had hidden.
Maddie is so beautiful! She does look so peaceful sleeping.
